If possible, friends and family members should be near at the time of passing, so they may offer hope and prayer for the dying person.
The rules for washing and shrouding the deceased are very specific and should be followed to the letter.
Many people do not realize that caskets are not required by law in some cemeteries in NJ, although some cemeteries require them.
Burial should take place as soon as possible after the death. It is therefore important to be prepared to begin the Janazah Immediately.
